PowerWash Simulator: Wallace & Gromit Special Pack Review (rhibreads)

I've never watched Wallace & Gromit, I bought and played this purely to have new levels in the game. Purely as new game levels I'd have to rank this one around 5/10. It feels pretty light and definitely one of their more middling DLCs. Maybe it's coming off the Shrek DLC which was *excellent* with huge levels and a lot of variety but this is the first DLC I didn't complete or nearly complete in one go.
Obviously your mileage may vary but I'm not a fan of the vehicle cleans in this game because vehicles are almost always too small to make it fun or worthwhile especially for paid DLC. Most vehicles can be cleaned in five minutes or less without soap. The small plane and legs machine in this DLC took about 35 seconds each and that half of that job. Same issue with the Burgermobile in the Spongebob DLC, the motorcycle in the Midgard/Final Fantasy DLC, the van in the Back to the Future DLC but most of those DLCs usually had at least one massive level to offset that, sometimes multiple large jobs. This one just didn't. The two interior jobs were fun and the best part of this DLC but still felt quite small compared to most of the other interior clean jobs from other DLCs.
If you're a big W&G fan or if you really like smaller, vehicle cleans this might be special but if you just want new levels I don't really think this is worth $12. For $12 right now on Steam you can buy Anno 1800 ($8), Far Cry 5 ($8), Slay the Spire ($11), Assassins Creed Origins ($12), pretty much any of the Tom Clancy games ($5/ea), The Division 2 ($10). Skyrim goes up for sale for cheaper than this every few weeks as well.
