PowerWash Simulator: Shrek Special Pack Review (MissBliss)
I was so excited for this DLC I didn't even notice how broken it was at first. Managed to join a game with a friend where I:
-could not see progress in the game (0% throughout entire cleans)
-I couldn't tab to see dirt
- I received no sound notifications for any sections cleaned
- No visual notifications for sections cleaned
- I couldn't open the tablet
- I couldn't escape to turn up or down the game sound
- I could still see visual dirt through entire levels so I was left cleaning the same spots someone else had already finished
- I couldn't change gun length so I couldn't reach higher things in levels where ladders couldn't be placed nearby (fairy godmothers factory)
- And because of the very first glitch I mentioned I couldn't even get full completion achievements for levels when my friend was watching the sped up cleans (but to be a little generous I COULD get the other achievements in those levels).
After this, I hoped it would have been fixed overnight and went to play the levels I'd done with my friend in hopes I could get the achievements ASAP (even though I already spent 7 hours the night before doing the same thing). BUT!:
- No water came out of my gun
- No water = not able to clean
- Moving was glitchy, like laggy almost and I have never experienced this in powerwash
- Other glitches I mentioned above such as tablet unavailable, escape not working, tab not showing dirt etc.
Overall, DO NOT BUY THIS DLC, IT WILL BREAK YOUR GAME.
Extra: Devs are aware and currently only offer up that you must clear your save files in order to keep playing, but this will remove all progress in the game (unless you join their discord and download the files which I'm not comfortable doing). When the DLC gets fixed and I can play the game again, I'll amend this, but for now with all these glitches this stays as an incredible warning NOT to buy this DLC).
