PowerWash Simulator: Back to the Future Special Pack Review (Eagle262)
Its another power wash DLC, you already know what the gameplay is like. As for the content itself, there isn't much to say unfortunately. You get a panel van and a generic small truck, about as boring as they sound. The DeLorean itself is cool and very detailed, but that ends up working against it as there are a lot of small parts on top of one another that can be annoying to completely clean. Lastly you get the time train which is great, easily the best level in the pack, with tons of detail and some fun moving parts without being as finicky as the DeLorean. You only get two buildings in the DLC. First is the theatre which feels pretty small but is otherwise fun, and then the clocktower, which is... odd. It feels half completed, coming in two parts, an outer front of the building and an upper clock room. Connecting these two is a large entryway and a starcase which are completely clean and have nothing in them. It feels strange that there is nothing to do in these relatively large areas except just walk through. Lastly there's the story. Personally I haven't been that invested in the stories, but this one stands out for how strange it is. Instead of a character from the universe like all the other DLCs, this one has you talking to an intern from the movie studio for some reason. And the "joke" that gets repeated over and over is that he doesn't know anything about the actual movies. And for some reason, despite the entire DLC explicitly taking place on a movie set with facades and camera equipment everywhere, the time machines and holograph are completely functional despite being movie props. Its just a bizzare unforced error, like it could have just been set in universe and there would have been no issue. All in all its easily the weakest of the DLCs and frankly should have had its price swapped with one of the free ones. Only get it on sale if you're a completionist or just really really like the movies i guess
