Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Review (harryernandez1)

The game has a lot of potential, it can really introduce you to the life and antics of officers, and frankly also their very mundane days.
However, knowing personally some officers there are also days of intense adrenal events. You may wish to add a "SPECIAL EVENT" randomised into some of the shifts where more serious crimes occur.
Moreover, the game unfortunately makes you spend too much time in very mundane useless tasks, it should allow you to disable or at least SPEED UP useless events like taking your phone out to show a person a map - make this instant and the game play is a bit faster/smoother. I don't really want to see this officer take 3 seconds to help a pedestrian find a map location each time. Maybe first time play the animation then just get to the dang map?!
The "open world" is pretty limited if comparing to open world games like GTA V, so don't be alarmed, this is a POLICE sim not an open play environment, so long as you keep that in mind it plays pretty fun.
THE GOOD
1. The game offers a real good way to experience an officer life and shift work as advertised!
2. This game uses UE and the city they created is a pleasant place to walk and hang around... I really wish i could buy a hotdog from that vendor!!
3. The people are pretty realistic and enjoy interactions although see below for limits
4. The ACTION dynamics are relativley easy, at first I was worried it would take a lot of effort to talk to frisk to arrest, but the entire process is pretty smooth dynamics in game (good on the developers for this)!
5. I just like the idea of being able to walk around my city centre and help keep crime down, although talking to the fifteenth jaywalker or litter bug is a bit over the top -- just how many people are avoiding REAL violent crime and throwing trash on ground here I can't understand. But enjoy the "street beat" vibe this game gives.
6. Multiplayer - YES! that's all I need to say, we need more chances to play with friends in this covid avoid personal contact world!
7. My gun - thank goodness this game allows you to pull that TASER or GUN out on your first five minutes of a shift and shoot -- and moreover to teach you that in the real world that gets you fired... I like that the dev team did not want to prevent stupid conduct they just wanted to use it to teach! well done, that is what a sim is suppose to do!
8. Multicultural, multifaceted - the game offers a LOT of different NPC types, that is good, but they also avoided stupid stereotypes, thank you!
To the dev team, I know you are working hard but pretty PLEASE improve some effects:
1. PEOPLE ARE UNREALISTICALLY UNEMOTIONAL - when someone is wrongly arrested or accused you can get them to be a bit more realistically pissed off - seems everyone in this city is far far too mellow and unemotional. Even the emotional people just kind of graciously walk off or "yell" quietly?!
2. CITY LIFE - I understand there are a lot of drivers, and a lot of pedestrians walking -- that's good, but too few of these are actually doing something other than aimlessly walking around or aimlessly driving around
-- how about REALISM - some cars park, others drive to a store and person gets out, etc. Right now it just looks like a city of robots.
CONCLUSION
I've played a lot more and am loving this SIM.
Great start to a positive sim game, it is a good sim and can teach the key aspects of police duty. Keep it up!!
