Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Review (Cyro)

So I've played this game for a couple hours and got it on discount, it's been pretty enjoyable so far...

The grinding doesn't take too long (at least so far) and every shift will always have something going on
The freedom of choice for every shift is really great and the details are pretty thought out
The UI is honestly perfect, from the main menu the the in game UI, it honestly is really good.
The information given to the player and the details with searching records, checking maps, and all that good police stuff is very well made with minor issues
There are many more positive factors i could mention, but this is enough and there are plenty of videos talking more about this in detail.
For the negatives,
BUGS. there are so many. I dont know if it's just me, but I've had the UI glitch out, I've had npc cars glitch out, the throwables (like flares) glitch out, and the AI is helpless.
speaking of the ai, it is very pathetic. the AI in PS:PO is clueless and completely embarrassing. sure it gets the job done during conversations and basic systems like walking, but apart from the walking, everything i just mentioned is purposely scripted for the ai. the ai when NOT following scripts is like early 2000's GTA level ai. It's at its worst while driving. the ai doesnt know how to simply move out of the way, causes accidents (then the game blames it on you) stops in the middle of the road when pulled over, cant pull over if your car or another vehicle is where its AI tells it to park (so it just stays there and you cant do anything) constantly randomly crashes into car accidents youre already dealing with (in broad daylight) literally sometimes brakes sometimes doesnt, have super weird turning physics, crash into trees sometimes when trying to get out of the way when you have sirens, honestly I could go on.
the character models and voice lines are very repetitive and do not have a large variety
the animations (especially when npcs try to run from you) are stupidly funny and need work
the game is not that well optimized (but its pretty okay ive seen way worse), but im pretty sure the devs know as they literally try to prevent you from increasing vehicle and npc spawn rate in settings
some neutrals factors:
graphics are pretty good, nothing insane but relatively fit recent standards. only character models look eh
when searching people or cars, sometimes really weird things are found and the game doesnt always tell you if its illegal or not (eg: ninja stars, human teeth, etc) these items arent illegal according to the game, but to my limited knowledge it doesnt say anywhere
progression and map detail is really nice
the current two difficulty levels are pretty good. they do the job and personally dont need to be changed much
there are times that come up where you do get to aim your weapon to stop someone, but at the moment (maybe its just where i am in the game idk) shooting your gun or tazer is never really needed but its not a huge deal

overall its a great game made by an upcoming developer and publisher. its really fun (if youre into these kinds of game)
and fairly well made in the parts that matter most. its fairly new and has a small dev team, so id say theyre doing great. i wouldnt recommend at full price in its current stage, (i got it 30-40% off i dont remember) as the ai and the bugs are really holding its full potential back at the moment, but apart from that the game is great and im sure most could enjoy if they put time into it
ty for reading im writing this at 3 am so i appreciate it
(EVEN THOUGH I SAID NOT RECOMMEND I MEAN AT ITS DEFAULT PRICE, I, WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY AND I HOPE IT IMPROVES, THIS IS NOT HATE, and if it comes across that way its because im a teen on break staying up too late and i dont rly care)
