Pixel Ripped 1978 Review (sora's 青かった星)
It was very boring, and I didn't enjoy how the 3D levels went for a Minecraft aesthetic/direction this time. The first two games were alright. Pixel Ripped 1995 was the best of the three so far. The only good thing about it is that I was able to launch it on an HP Reverb G2.
I also found out that if I leaned around and reset the camera on the Breakout level I could put the camera behind my character and make her headless. Coupled with the lack of animations when you press buttons on the joystick, I think this game has less polish than 1995.
I decided to refund it after a little over an hour of general boredom. Hopefully, Pixel Ripped 1999 will be a lot more fun. The Breakout boss and the 2D platforming sections were the most interesting for me, and the office dialogue was cute, but by the time I got to the Groovyland and saw it was about to repeat the snore that was Bently's Quest with more bad first person shooting and wandering in circles I knew I was too tired of the gameplay to keep playing.
