Pixel Puzzles Traditional Jigsaws Review (Jackson)
Pixel Puzzles: Traditional might be something of a successor to Pixel Puzzles: Ultimate. It's free to play with dlc's for more images. If you like a variety of puzzle piece types (traditional along with many other relatively squarish type shapes) PPU might be or you, otherwise if you just like traditional jigsaw type pieces, pick this up. This is probably about the best puzzle game I've found to date.
- It's free to try so there's really nothing to lose!
- All the images so far are very good quality and cover many subjects.
- Several settings are available for the pieces. You can have them auto rotated or not for instance
- Many different backgrounds for variety.
- DLC's are (so far) very appropriately priced based on the time it will take to finish them.
- New free puzzle every few days.
- It may not be for achievement hunters, as you'll have to spend an undoubtedly hefty sum to get all achievements.
In case you're familiar with PPU:
Overall I find it to be a little bit more refined perhaps, but really, it's just different than Pixel Puzzles Ultimate. Gone are the Ultimate pieces and free monthly challenge puzzle. Instead there are smaller free puzzles every few days that give you badges. Upside? You get free puzzles every few days. Downside... They're smaller and you can't rework them once done though I doubt that'll affect most of us.
Personally I prefer PPU, but there's really no reason not to try both for yourself. I imagine I'll be able to keep up with both.
