Pinball FX: Borderlands - Vault Hunter Pinball Review (GAD)
Yet another great game-themed table, spoiled by the total lack of back glass, or info window. This means that knocking down the 4 villains over and over - without knowing why you're doing so - gets old very quickly. The voices from the game are all present and very funny too in places, but again, without knowing what you are hitting and why, the game is literally just a case of aimlessly knocking the ball around the table and this is the kind of table where knowing what the actual 'game' is, is fairly essential. Some tables are pretty straightforward, but one like this - based on a fast-paced game - really does need a visible info window. That said, I like the fact that you can earn different weapons - so as to know the villains down in one, rather than 2 hits, and the animated villain jumping into the middle of the table is also very cool. But again, playing blindly - without even your score on screen, isn't a lot of fun. I realise this is oversight, rather than by design, so it has no bearing on my review. Table 7/10
