Perish Review (Malla)
I would NOT recommend this game.

This game has several problems. but the main ones for me were:
1. Enemies permanently respawn, which makes going through an area more of a run past everything, since killing them mean nothing if they will just respawn instantly and it doesn't feel rewarding like clearing a dungeon would be. Also, just spam attack and walk around in a circle and they will NEVER hit you. LOL
2. Ranged enemies don't give clear audio cues when launching projectiles, which is frustrating since you have permanent respawning melee units in your face, projectiles mix with environment colors, and you have only 3 hits permitted until you die.
3. You need to grind gold for any decent weapons and gear, which makes flying ranged enemies that shoot lasers and can shred your 3 health points feel more annoying than challenging since early-on you cant buy what you need to deal with them.
4. Enemies just look boring and uninspired, just a bunch of dudes with glowing eyes or robed mages essentially. Not to mention their dark colors make them blend with the environment too much, making it difficult to spot ranged unit from a distance.
Also, I was having frame drops and stuttering on this game with a RTX 3080, so not sure whats up with that...
Overall, feels like early access more than a full release, needs better optimization, gameplay is NOT fun and tedious, multiplayer is only saving grace for otherwise mediocre experience. Also, the metal soundtrack is alright, but feels uninspired and out of place by the mythological setting the game takes place in, it made more sense in games like Metal: Hellsinger and Doom because you were fighting demon in hell. Comparing this to a game like Gunfire Reborn, both single player and multiplayer runs are 100x more fun, interesting, polished, and just better in Gunfire Reborn, than this game.
