Palindrome Syndrome: Escape Room Review (Spider Witch)
Meh, get it on sale.
It has some great puzzles and some really awful puzzles, pretty nice graphics and consistent theming throughout, the walking speed is painfully slow but there's a run button (c by default for some reason), and the story was bad but barely relevant, though it unfortunately drags down the last 5 minutes or so of the game with a weird ending that railroads you through unfailable "puzzles" for dramatic effect
Puzzle highlights:
-figure out and continue patterns
-combine basic math problems with clues to find code
-find environmental clues
puzzle lowlights:
-count objects
-keep track of several complex clues/instructions at once, exiting the puzzle and navigating a menu every time you want to reread them
-the same "flip all the levers on but they effect other levers" puzzle 3 (4?) times
-connect the pipes but some of them turn surrounding pipes
-basic algebra level math problem ((x+y)/z = 7, where y is given and x and z have preset possible numbers)
