Paleo Pines Review (DittoFish)

I really want to like this game. And I hope as I get further into it I will begin to enjoy it more and can update this review accordingly, but at an hour in the only thing I can really say about this game positively is that its very cute and scratches that dinosaur game itch we all have.
As far as the gameplay goes, it's been more annoying than anything so far. Some, if not most of the tutorials seem lacking. For example, you're taught how to create a pen, but not how to place a dino into it. Your first dino is auto assigned to a pen, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to assign my second dino to a new pen, or how to reassign my first to her pen that i moved a little. (Update: It's through the flute, but this still was never explained and was just something I figures out after looking around menus and whatnot for several minutes) It also doesnt tell you the requirements for a pen, as from what I can tell each dinosaur needs x amount of space in its pen, ex 25 sq feet or something along those lines, (along with a dream stone, which has upgrades that aren't explained and a feeding trough), but idk how much space each square is and there's simply no info on how much space your first dino needs at all.
You're able to feed your dinos your crops and whatnot as a snack, but I can't see any purpose to doing so. I thought it would recover their stamina, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe I'm just missing something there, though. (Supposedly it increases their happiness. I got it to work once, but I still don't know why you'd do it and half the time it still seems to do nothing)
The placement camera is a huge pain. It places itself directly in front of where you're standing when you're opening and it doesn't appear that you can move it unless you close the thing, walk backwards, and open it again.
Picking things up and other actions require you to be standing and facing in a pretty specific position to do.
The inventory system is a mess, namely when it comes to the use of tools.
And my biggest pet peeve, the amount of useless and annoying wandering. There's a map, but no minimap, which is okay, but still annoying given the fact that just about everywhere looks more or less the same. You have to get off your dinosaur to actually pick up or record anything in your journal (same goes for talking to people you run into). You could explore to find some dinosaurs, but if you're not prepared to befriend them there's no point since you can't mark them on the map or anything unless you're able to simply remember it. And then theres the invisible walls and lack of ability to jump. The lack of ability to jump is annoying, but it doesn't bother me as much as the walls, partially because if you could jump it wouldn't metter cause you'd just have more walls to run into. Some walls are fine, but there's plenty that make no sense and just force you to walk the long way around a small slope you should just be able to run down or something. It just makes the already exploration go from lackluster to painful, especially when you put into account the fact you only have so much stamina in a day
I'll admit, this is all fairly nitpicky, but it's all stuff that's been genuinely annoying me. If you're good with playing a pretty clunky game where it's your job to figure out most things, then go ahead. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it unless it gets some good QoL updates
