Oxygen Not Included: Spaced Out! Review (Nitaire)

Wow I cannot believe I haven't left a review for ONI - Spaced Out!
This is one of the greatest dlcs to grace any game I have ever played, content is still being added and Klei works tirelessly for balancing, bugfixing and churning out new content while even managing to introduce some shiny new stuff like SKINS for buildings, decoration, clothing and all that fancy jazz.
Alright so you might be wondering how this affects the base game, it essentially shakes up the whole experience and takes nothing away except the complicated rocket building the base game had. It also gives more options for growing and getting food by extending the list of plants and even the critter list, essentially the dlc packs in a bit of everything and Klei will balance it a bit when they introduce it and fine-tune it later if necessary.
The workshop support here is gigantic too, certainly not the biggest but by jove there's so many things players come up with that just enhance the experience. Before diving into the workshop I considered the game perfect in most aspects and I had some groans about the way things were done but ultimately used them anyway or tried to.. however after going to workshop I now have quality of life improvements that make the experience even better.
I won't derail the review with what I download there though, instead I will say this dlc is worth full price and if you're into the genre or the base game even a little bit it is an absolute no-brainer to get this and play with it, almost all aspects of it are bigger compared to the base game and not much is explicitly taken away, the base game also isn't abandoned but has seperate update features that come along with updates, Klei distinguishes them too.
Buy this at full price or on sale if hesitant, is the content justifying the price? Absolutely, the base game has extended the shelf life of an already very replayable game and makes it feel truly complete. Even if you don't buy this you've still got a banger of a game to enjoy, very fun and highly recommend to many people, especially 2D base builder lovers.
