Oxygen Not Included: Spaced Out! Review (BUMGOBLIN)
Seeing as Klei is still owned majority by Tencent, they're hard to avoid and thats not going to change anytime soon, here's a normal review. I want Klei to be independent again, and it sucks that they're owned by such a shitty stock holder.
For a space themed colony game, the base ONI kind of peters out quickly when you get to rockets and astronauts. This DLC remedys that and takes it a step further with off-base colonys that require new management challanges to tackle.
It also adds a few new bits and pieces of resources, creatures and systems to handle; nuclear power and radiation are oddly missing from the base game, and now they're here, even if kind of stripped down.
If you WANT the end space stage to be more complex than sticking a Dupe in a rocket, pressing a button and waiting for them to come back, then this DLC will please you. If you dislike the idea of NEEDING space exploration for both base expansion and resource acquisition, then I can see why this DLC is a disappointment.
