Orbital Bullet Review (FLGibsonIII)
Orbital Bullet is a roguelike that relies on fun arcadey action. The best thing about this game is how fun it controls. You movement is fast and snappy and has a nice sense of momentum. The way jumping works adds verticality and serves the game very well. Additionally, this roguelike does not fall into the trap of making enemies too bullet spongey or too reliant on permenant skill trees. Your skill matters most and it is not a slog to kill enemies at all. There are a variety of weapons, with many feeling strong and satisfying enough to handle the challenges presented in front of you. And while the game feels very fair, it can also be difficult, which is a hard balance to reach for many devs. Overall, Orbital Bullet is one of the better roguelikes I have played in this overcrowded genre, and I would definitely recommend it.
