One Last Breath Review (GameGuidesChannel)
I recently had the pleasure of diving into "One Last Breath," and I must say, it's a unique experience that left me with mixed feelings but ultimately a positive impression.
Let's break it down:
Gameplay: I'd give it a solid 5/10. Gameplay mechanics are reminiscent of titles like Limbo and Inside, which I absolutely adore. But, there are no any hard puzzles or challenges. Most part of the game is a cheesy walk.
Art/Graphics: A respectable 7/10 here. The game pays attention to detail and atmospheric design. The side-scrolling visuals create a hauntingly beautiful world that draws you in from the start.
Music/Soundtrack: Ugh, I'd say, 8-9/10. The soundtrack complements the eerie atmosphere perfectly, enhancing suspenseful moments and adding emotional depth to the narrative. It's not groundbreaking, but it does its job effectively.
Game Time: Clocking in at 2 hours, enough to get both endings and unlock all achievements.
"One Last Breath" is a short but engaging journey. It's perfect for a casual pick-up-and-play session, offering a relaxing yet captivating side-scrolling adventure.
