Octopath Traveler II Review (REYOMA_BLACKSTAR (｀ ー ´メ))
So far, 1.8 hours into the game and I already love this more than the first one! ( Played it on Xbox for the first one ).
COMBAT REVIEW: It feels less grindy and the combat is very satisfying so far! I love the differences in day time and night time fighting.
UI REVIEW: the UI is really comforting, and it's very optimized as far as my pc goes and it feels fresh out of the blue!
STORY REVIEW: It feels very rich, very enticing, started with Hikari, but I have felt the need to want to start with the Scholar out of curiosity ( I'm gonna bet a lot of people are picking the cat girl first ), by far, very interested to see the vast amount of lore.
ART REVIEW: FUCKING BEAUTIFUL! I. LOVE. THE. ART OF THIS GAME! It's GOD TIER!
MUSIC REVIEW: Very good, the OSTs have not disappointed me thus far and is better than the first!
EDIT: I will update the review later when I've put more hours into the game.
OVERALL REVIEW: If you miss playing JRPGs nowadays, try this one out! it looks like a lot of passion was put into this and honestly this game is a big improvement to the first one, you don't need to play the first Octopath Traveler either! it's all different stories like the final fantasy series.
RATING: For now, it will get a 9/10 from me!
