Octodad: Dadliest Catch Review (Holysword)
Maybe you didn't notice that, but the protagonist is an Octopus. Mind=blow!
Don't worry, nobody noticed that either, not even his wife. Your job is to keep that going. Complete mundane dad tasks without letting anyone notice your tentacly nature, that's it!
You'll be in control of Octodad's legs and arms. L1/L2 lifts his left/right leg, controller stick moves his lifted, very slimy, elastic and woobly leg around. It is simple, it is fun, it is soooo dumb. Your children are extremely adorable too, the voice acting is great. The game can be finished rather easily/quickly but there are "secret ties" spread around and collecting them can be a challange.
Achievements are AWESOME and I have the feeling that you'd be missing a lot if you're not hunting them for this game. Linux port was flawless, thanks for supporting the penguin!!! Plus, cards!
These are 10 well-spent hours, get it!
