Not For Broadcast: The Timeloop Review (Strawblaze)
The Timeloop is a good way to end Not For Broadcast, not to mention one that made the time spent on previous DLCs more worth it. A lot of fan favourite characters from the game's previous chapters get to appear and the second half of the expansion adds a fun twist that allowed them to break boundaries one more time and add in crazy scenes — which is what most of us like to see, even more now that we have a lot more of character background to render these crazy scenes even more absurd.
During the aforementioned second half of the expansion, the audience mechanic is temporarily ditched and you'll be deciding on what unpredictable segment to watch next, a bit like Bits of your Life, but with clue-hunting in place of camera management. It obviously plays differently and may end up disappointing you if you're expecting the usual gameplay. We've already spent a rather long time with the game, so I honestly didn't think it was detrimental. But it'd still be great if we could eventually play these segments separately (through Challenge Mode, for instance) with audience enabled, especially as some of them are musicals.
Nonetheless, if you had to pick just one of NFB's DLCs to play, this is the one I recommend going for. It has the most balanced gameplay and the most content out of all three of them, while also accurately leading you towards progress and respecting your time.
