Not for Broadcast Review (kazwellings)
it is a bit early probably to write a review but from what i have played so far i knew i was going to love this game & i do. i came to edit my review because i thought there was an issue but there isn't. anyone playing on steamdeck when it comes to the interference mechanic the game tells you to hold rt/ move the right stick to tune the frequency but what it doesn't tell you is that you hold rb & move the right stick to move the frequency line & change its position to move it up & down on the screen. i absolutely love this game, i just hope i can improve when it comes to the interference mechanic but it is not difficult just i am not very good at it but i like the game so i plan to 'get good'. wow what a game though, totally unique, works great on steamdeck & you dont have to mess with any settings. i dont think there is anything i can say about this game without spoilers, i think i am still at the beginning, i restarted a couple of times because i forgot what was what. i turn the volume down on the live feed which is the opposite of what the game suggests but i cant cope with it the other way round & use the bleeper better that way, when i hear it i then use the visual cue. cant wait to see what happens next, i just made it to the end of my second time in the studio, everything about this game is so brilliant . i hope more games like this will be made, i am in my 50s & have been gaming since the atari, i have never played a game like this , not even close & it is one of the best games i have ever played. okay so now i am further into the game , i dropped the difficulty down one notch because i could not get the frequency aligned , the parts when you are not in the studio i found a bit grammatically awkward to read because the use of the word 'they' is being used when referring to a single person & that really makes no sense to a fuddy duddy english person like me , i end up having to read over it a dozen times trying to make it make sense to my gen x english brain but it definately adds to the dystopian tone of the game. no disrespect or offense is meant by that btw.
