Not For Broadcast: Bits of Your Life Review (BlueBuffoon)
Look, I didn't want to add onto the pile, but Live & Spooky was disappointing; this one isn't. Not only does it have the benefit of characters you know, but the gameplay is leagues better. Basically, you're given one night where every guest is automatically programmed, and the show goes off without a hitch. Good narrative; I thought it might've been done there. WRONG! The game opens up to branching paths, all based on who you bring out and in what order and how the host (who's creatively on autopilot and is having a nervous breakdown due to all the mistakes) responds. It's pretty good setup, and provides for multiple branching paths. I've yet to play through all of them, but how can you deny a funny FMV game with branching paths? Whereas L&S kept you on ONE path with "catch it or don't" moments, this experience is much more rewarding, and serves the engine and story well. Why oh why did you not lead the DLC with THIS ONE? Also, Devs, while I have you- please- PLEEASEE - add a skip button after the first playthrough. Let us SKIP long segments; here and in base game. Just thoughts for GotY edition you all deserve.
