Northgard: Vordr, Clan of the Owl Review (Halud)
A cool idea for a clan with some unique gameplay ruined by game breaking bugs.
On larger maps I experience crashes both when I play owl and also when my allies play it. My game also chugs along as they plant roots at a horrible fps. It is not a hardware issue, I have a 7900XT, a 9800X3D, and 64GB of RAM so my PC is absolutely overkill for this game. The issues get worse when there are a lot of roots and is especially bad when their relic is built. Whenever my ally put a root down, it had a 50% chance of freezing my game. My fps dipped hard when they built their relic. I am guessing that there are certain settings which make this more or less of a problem and playing at 4k vs the 1080p my friend was playing at also is a factor. As a suggestion because this isn't the only buggy DLC clan, the developers really should to add a way to blacklist certain clans from random selection and maybe test these clans on 8 player maps in longer games as that seems to be where more problems arise. Turtle had at least one game breaking bug on release that I ran into but as I do not own them, I can't comment on the frequency.
