Northgard: Svardilfari, Clan of the Horse Review (ImGunnerKillYa)

Do you like easy-to-pilot clans?
Do you like having TWO warchiefs that can mine at an exceptional rate AND build/repair quicker then civilians?
Do you like cheesy Lore Victories?
With the Horse Clan, it does exactly that!
The Excavation Lore Mechanic (+5 lore for each ore you extract) is a must and should be purchased almost immediately given the right factors, and if you have at least purchased one of the Warchiefs or just about to. Then you keep your money up with Trading Posts, keep expanding for Fame, increase food production etc (basically things you gotta do anyways) but with one twist; MINE. EVERYTHING. Iron is great if you want to get the Relic which boosts both Warchiefs' abilities (such as mining, forging, defense, attack and the rest), but the real power is Carved Stones. Place them suckers down everywhere, increase your Loremaster's ability to suck the life out of those smart rocks, and from there you basically just win. With a consistent 40+ Lore approximately the third winter, you'll be finishing the game relatively quickly.
The Horse does have its mild downsides, however.
For one, you're VERY reliant on your Warchiefs. Not needing to create mines makes a bunch of space and allows for other structures, but make sure your doods are alive. 150 moneys for one is relatively expensive, but you need them to continue mining because that's how you win the game.
In terms of military, the Horse Clan is relatively strong... for defending. You don't want to raid other people because your Warchief's are extremely valuable. You mainly just want to defend your Carved Stones while not making any enemies, because again that's how you win.
If you like military, then this clan isn't the best for you. Other clans excel in military compared to the Horse. In terms churning out cheap lore wins, it does just that.
I give this product at least 15 Horses
