No Longer Home Review (Jess)
Not exactly a type of game I usually play, so I'm not sure that I have good words to explain it. So, it's a story of two fellas leaving their current place in life. They need to leave their home, they just graduated and one of them is a foreigner so gotta leave for a while because of that too. And it's filled with their emotions, thoughts, and fears on the matter. We can roam the house and look at things through their eyes, we have just one evening and bits of night for that, though. I call that type of story sweet. I feel for characters, though my uni was long ago. It sure could be better, could be deeper. I'd wish they talk more about self perception there. Lowkey was disappointed that while nonbinary they are still hetero couple in the end, not like that's relevant.
Gameplay is very melancholic, and with very simple art style there's not much to look at, you just read, and read. There's no voice over, I get how some people in reviews complain it's boring.
Two stars for every cat though, and two more for being able to pet both.
