Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Review (Firebro999)
While the first game was really fun, there's no doubt that its launch was quite rough. It got better over time, though unfortunately most people moved on. NASB2 instantly is a massive upgrade from the first title, giving it more refined gameplay, drastically improving the visuals, and best of all -- single player content, which the first game absolutely lacked.
Arcade mode is actually much better this time around, and the campaign layout being rouge-like gives a lot of incentives for multiple runs. With bosses, more modes, minigames, the game definitely feels like a complete product this time around.
A lot of people may be upset over the cuts -- but keep in mind that this game had a limited development time and they focused on reworking pretty much every character and spent time adding more modes.
I do think the costume pack price is quite hefty, and the game could be WAY better optimized on other platforms, but NASB2 on Steam is absolutely a great game and I think those who didn't like the first game would probably enjoy this one a lot more.
