Need for Speed: Most Wanted Review (Press start to begin)

Need for Speed Most Wanted is a true Open World game. You drive around the city and there is something to do everywhere.
You can expand your collection of speeding tickets through the many speed cameras and make the most insane jumps through billboards.
There are races in various places in the city that you can participate in.
The game also works great on a steam deck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tLpGcFmJKI
The game is quite unique in the way you progress in single player mode.
In principle, you have access to all the cars in the game right from the start.
This is not as simple as it may sound, because you first have to find these cars within the city.
These cars are parked everywhere and can be recognized by a brand logo hanging above them.
By driving up to such a car you can choose to add it to your inventory.
The AI of the police isn't perfect, but it's better than I've seen in many other open world games.
The police are really trying their best to arrest you.
A quick car change or paint job won't just fool them.
The police are also able to quickly set up roadblocks. The more you dodge them, the heavier they become.
The only way to escape the police is to outrun them.
It is mainly the fun and intensity of the racing that sets Most Wanted apart from many other racing games,
Although it all looks a bit like a disguised remake of Burnout Paradise, a topper that many racing fans still think back to daily with nostalgia or play back like myself.
