Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Review (theGMOpotato)
The game has a unique "master" system where you can learn the ninjutsu of any shinobi you're fond of and, that'll really excite you at first and it'll be really fun for the first 3-5 hours,
but then you realise the massive pay wall in front of you, to get any of the characters anyone would usually want(Naruto, Sasuke, Madara, Hashirama. etc) you have to spend Rs.110
or 1.35 USD. The training missions then start becoming more annoying than challenging and fun; rather than adding new kinds of missions they repeat the same 5 missions again and again for each rank with only a difference in number of enemies and the amount of health each enemy and boss has.
The online battles are riddled with cheaters and network issues enemies will either keep using an unnnecessarily overpowered (and ofcourse paid for) jutsu without half a second of cooldown time or your ping will be so high you cant possibly even move in the correct direction (I use 5G wifi and an ethernet cable interchangeably and the network issues remain the same for both so its unlikely the network issues are from my side)
This game could be so much more fun but instead they just decided to make a well-camouflaged cash-grab, just milking the fans of the franchise, its frustrating how much potential the game has to be better past the initial 3-5 hours but they refuse to make any improvements yet.
I've sunk in 46 hours into the game to find any possible thing I could do to rekindle my interest and enjoyment but I have not found anything as of yet
I'll try to regularly check out the updates and hope that they're taking some new kind of direction and fixing issues that are prevalent but I honestly doubt anything drastic will happen
