Nairi: Rising Tide Review (Aron_dc)
First: If you didn't play Nairi:Tower of Shirin and you're interested in this game, play Tower of Shirin first!
This is the second game of a series and seamlessly continues the story of the first game.
Again the graphics are very cute chibi styled characters in a beautiful comic fantasy world.
Gameplaywise you can expect a storyheavy game (lot of dialogues) with some very clever (rarely frustrating) puzzles inbetween.
The game revolves around Nairi and her friends who are on a quest to I won't tell you, just play the first game! and again they have to overcome the one or another obstacle. They will find new friends and fight old enemies.
The Puzzles range from kind of moving puzzles and finding the right keys for the right doors to laser redirection and really huge contraptions where you have to put the right parts into the right spots.
Hint: There are quite a few collectibles in the game that are really easy to miss, but you can always enter all important areas during the whole game but don't be afraid by the end of the game you can get an item that shows on which screens you missed collectibles.
