MythForce Review (ZuriXVita)

Love the style and graphics! Everything else is... well to put it nicely, it needs more time.
First problem, epic service dependency, I do not want to launch a game via one platform, only for it to open another platform and launch it from there, what's next in the future? A nest of platforms just to run a video game?
Second, after finally able to get in the game from the long initialization of epic service, after starting a quickplay game the tutorial were just dumped to me explaining everything at once in the form of GUI highlights, in silence, that tells me that this game does not have a proper tutorial, which means, its not finished.
Third, after I dismissed all of the tutorial slides, I was immediately teamed up with another player and immediately skeletons just appeared and started attacking us, we killed them and more appear, we killed them and more appear, we killed them and... nothing happened? We were wondering around until we found what seem to be a way forward, then skeletons appeared and we killed them, skeletons appeared and you would not guess what happens next! Rinse and repeat for pretty much the whole game.
Only momentary excitement I felt was during the 1 and only mini-boss fight in that mission against the mushroom mage, and even then the tactic between me and the other player was to just gang up on it and spam attack until it's dead. Afterwards, rinse and repeat.
Finally we made it to the last room, there was a dialogue with the antagonist, OK cool let's do this, we thought, nope the guy ran away and leaves his minions to deal with us which we just need to keep killing them for.. 2 minutes straight I think? Which then we opened up the big chest at the end and.. we don't know we just get stuff from it, pulled the lever and the level just ended.
This game just feels unfinished, at certain times I can tell that it has the potential to be fun and engaging especially seeing the potential to mix and match certain perks and upgrades, maybe later on it's more fun going against tougher and smarter enemies that just doesn't waddle to you slowly and swings their weapon at you slowly and gets staggered on every strike. I'll follow the development of the game, still hopeful that this game could become a good game later on, just not at this moment.
