MythForce Review (Neyreyan_Youtube)
it's so basic...there is barely any progression and the game itself is slow and makes you backtrack. A normal dungeon consists of "magical doors" blocking you inside, enemies spawning in different cornes and you waiting for them to spawn and attack you.

The sound is terrible, you can't hear enemies behind you, the music doesn't fit the game, the progression of the city(upgrades) feels so grindy and basic. The characters you can chose from(4 playable) are pretty much as all steretypes in magical adventure games.
Pro: somewhat nice art, fun for a dungeon run(about 12 minutes), nice overall artwork for enemies and bosses, one of the only fps roguelikes
Cons: very repetitive, boring map design, most times you wait for enemies to spawn in a small space, looting makes you backtrack, sound design and music is very bad, you cant hear enemies behind you, game repeats the same shop rooms but makes them bigger than regular dungeons so you waste time.
The main hub, the city, is just a picture, nothing move in it, upgrades are barely incremental, items have very low bonuses, game feels like it has 2005 mechanics, i see no progress in roguelike.
A few words about multiplayer: THERE IS NO SINGLEPLAYER, it makes you choose between Open and Friends Only.
It downloads epic game store software for crossplay at the start even if you never intend to play multiplayer.
There is no server browser option you can either play with friends or HOPE to get a playable server, it should not be listed as co-op or multiplayer.
Steam really has to start improving the information shown about games, i have seen too many games that only have invite friend option but listed and promoted as multiplayer.
Last note: i have been following the game for years, it seems no progress was made to it, there is a screen that has "Coming Soon"
The devs also messed up the release price so i bought for 29 euros and 1 hour later it became 27 euros. With 2 euros i got have bought food for the stray cats near my apartment...
