Mortal Kombat 1 Review (Nuriyokan)
Bought the full edition of the game and got early access ... its 6 months later and the game is still unfixed and unfinished . It sucks and they watered the characters down. Gave legacy moves to " kameo " characters but then brought in 2 " kameos " that are so brain-dead frame data don't matter . Come from fighting games where you actually study the game and know how to punish unsafe moves ? Guess what in MK1 when people make mistakes and do really unsafe moves , they benefit from losing and get free combos for getting beat up because the " kameo " takes a free turn and interrupts you in the middle of your punish. The loser gets rewarded for losing at the game. NRS sold us a game then ruined it afterwards and made it worse . Guess what The DLC we paid for 6 months ago still hasn't came out all the way and they're adding new DLC apparently .
I'm a die hard MK fan that plays everyday and learns the game at a deep level trying to be good at it. BRO go play tekken or street fighter this game is bad . Sincerely a die hard MK guy .
Update : Nothing much has changed they just keep selling us content but not fixing the main game's issues . They want to give us KP2 and a story DLC but won't fix the main game . They also talk about another KP3 later down the line and want us to pay $40 for a game that still unfinished and has the audacity to say we won't get the full thing until later on releasing it bit by bit after we've already paid premium prices , then had another audacity to say they want to repeat that process for the 3rd time. This company only cares about 2 things .... Pushing an agenda and charging you more money .
LATE 2024 PRE TURKEY DAY UPDATE : THE DLC IS CRASHING THE GAME AND BARELY WORKS .... HOW DID THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS ? So Bad !
