I wasn't even sure if I wanted to buy this game after seeing the negative reviews (Well the reviews given by people who played more than 5 hours of the game) I do agree with some of the stuff they mention, but not all. For me, it's not a bad game at all, A lot more enjoyable than 4,5,6. Career mode for me is more enjoyable than previous games. I like they added Straight rhythm tracks which are pretty damn good. The outdoor MX tracks are cool. Is it better then MXB, MX Sim, TrackDayR? No, I can't even compare this game to those games because this game is a totally different style compared to those.. I love all 3 of those games, but sometimes it's nice to get away from those games to play a mindless dirt bike game with Ai. Getting used to the controls wasn't an issue for me since I corner that way in MXB and TrackdayR. The Ai is actually challenging which I love. Playing on advance you gotta use a lot more throttle control then the previous games. I like that they added a livery editor, helmet editor, butt patch editor, jersey editor. Haven't tried the track editor, but I saw its missing raised berms. The clutch seems to do more in this game than previous ones, doesn't bog after dropping the clutch. I hope they fix the in air movement of the rider and bike, right now it looks to stiff. Also wish they would make it so the rider doesn't always look like he's sitting. Manual sit/stand option would be cool to add. If you are a die hard MXB, TDR, Sim player and are not into arcade/sim you probably wont enjoy this game. But if you also enjoy arcade/sim this game might be worth checking out. I will say though, I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THE GAME RIGHT NOW AT FULL PRICE. I recommend waiting until the game goes on sale.
