Minecraft: Legends Review (KickaBytes)

As a guy who grew up playing Starcraft 1 & 2, this isn't the best RTS out there but it's trying... sorta
This game has its issues, like I feel like the campaign could use a little more variety in some things like random events of some sort to spice it up other then, Siege a base and Defend a village.
The unit variety is fine but could use some more stuff like maybe they could bring in the Iron Golem for some sort of Heavy Infantry like unit or add the spiders. Small thing but it can be better.
I wish the player character had more upgrades for them specifically, like your gonna be in the heat of battle most of the time so why not add an unlock-able ranged attack option or the ability to repair buildings with an upgrade. small things to let the player interact with their base and world more ya know? of course I understand that some of those mechanics might get delegated to campaign only but hey, can make campaign more interesting atleast.
Multiplayer has some Desync issues here and there but its not the worst and happens rarely for me.
I do see the problem and dislike for the Cosmetic store and I do agree its not a great thing but in the long term its not the worst thing here, its all optional cosmetics and can be ignored if you wish.
The worse thing with the game imo is the fact the game has too little content for it to be worth 40$. The campaign is not super long and pretty repetitive. I feel like they ride on the fact its a randomly generated world on each new save a bit much, while that adds some replayability, its not a great value with the campaign in its current state.
As for the PvP, I haven't done that yet so I wont leave an opinion here as it wouldn't be right.
But despite its problems, its still pretty damn fun for me as a casual. Its far from perfect but the Campaign being co-op is really fun and I enjoy coordinating sieges with my friends.
Though are if you want to buy it, wait until its on sale imo. 15-20$ I feel is what its proper price should be with its current content. Overtime I'm sure they will add more things but if those are required to make the game feel worth the 40$, the game shoulda been delayed a bit.

Overall not the worst RTS game but not the best either, kinda middle of the road and I feel the current Mixed Ratings is correct.
Oh and the game is cross platform so there is that, def was a selling point for me since I have some friends who only have PC and others that only of an Xbox, PS, or a Switch. So this was added to the small pile of games where my friend group can all hang out together.

P.S. I do recommend reading other reviews, you were probably already gonna do that but I just want to ensure you get informed of any other pros and cons the game has.
