Metro: Last Light Redux Review (𝕯ark 𝕿ears)
Metro: Last Light Redux
The story takes place in the same post-apocalyptic world as its predecessor, but takes place some time after the events of the end of the first game, in 2034. With a new companion by his side, Artyom needs to race against time to prevent a civil war. wipe out what's left of humanity.
It is then that the Ranger embarks on a new journey filled with even greater dangers. In this unprecedented adventure, the enemies are not just the terrible mutants or radiation zones, but the very human beings he wants to protect.
The game is an incredible first-person experience, with a wide variety of original and themed weapons. The various features and elements make the adventure very close to a survival filled with mystery, terror and a lot of action.
Race against time to save humanity in a beautiful world made from the ruins of what was once the height of civilization. In Metro: Last Light Redux, adventure awaits in every new landscape or dark tunnel. Try this classic game completely revamped right now!
One of the main strengths of the game is the immersion that the entire atmosphere of the Metro universe manages to create. The art direction of the game is impressive and brings true works of art to life in the most varied scenarios presented. Which is already a true evolution of its predecessor, since it is a considerably larger production.
There are not many changes regarding the gameplay, which was already, at its base, just another FPS. However, all the additional mechanics present in the previous game are still here, with the addition of certain improvements. The game suffers from an effect common to sequels to great games - the reduction in difficulty. But nothing that interferes with the gameplay experience.
Despite offering moments of difficulty and real challenge for the player, several elements of the game (such as shortage of ammunition), which serve to make it more difficult, seem softer. Even so, Metro offers modes with extremely high difficulty for players who really want the most hardcore experience possible.
The graphic quality also deserves mention. Although the original game already had much better graphics than the first title, they have been even more elaborate in this remastering and are ready to give work to the consoles of this new generation.
In short, Metro: Last Light Redux is a game that, like Metro 2033, cannot be missing from your library.
