Metal: Hellsinger - Purgatory Review (Serious Sofa)

This is a DLC you're buying exclusively for the music. Unlike the other DLC pack, the skins included here do not confer any manner of buff or ability, and are purely cosmetic. If that's still worth it to you, more power to you for knowing exactly what you want.
The bow, meanwhile, is poopshit. I've hated bows since the Huntsman in TF2 and that holds true here: it is a finesse weapon through and through, which is a diplomatic way of saying it's disadvantageous in the extreme and the only reason you would want it is to expressly get super good at using it for bragging rights alone. Specifically, it will cancel your shot outright if you don't time it on beat- it is the only weapon that does this, and the shot power in return does not justify this damning drawback.*
If I'm going to recommend it, I am recommending it solely on the music, which does indeed kick ass. So if you're here for that, go for it. If you're on the fence because you'd like the weapon or skins, though... You'd be better served buying the other pack, just a friendly heads up.
* I failed to clarify this in the first draft, but it specifically cancels -charged- shots. You can still fire arrows willy nilly, rhythm or no. I like the bow a little bit better now, as it's actually fairly versatile (jack of all trades, master of none) I still stand by my aforementioned point that this is a weapon whose true value is in showing off, rather than any kind of workhorse.
