Melvor Idle Review (42herooftime)
Bought the game on December 10th, 2021. I have had the game open and running for 5,853.9 hours since I bought it 297 days ago as of the writing of this review. That means that my poor computer has gotten only 53 full days without having this game running since the time I bought it.
I have played Runescape since about 2008 and as a guy who works a full time job now and can't bother playing Rs3 or OSRS anymore, this Idle game was a breath of fresh air. Some of my fellow 'Scapers might remember when Runescape: Idle Adventures was a thing. I loved the idea of a Idle game based off of my childhood MMO and then Jagex canned the game.
Melvor Idle is what I wish Runescape: Idle Adventures could have been if Jagex had actually let the game grow into its own. Melvor is much more polished than Adventures, and I am thankful for Malcs for developing this wonderful Idle game that feeds my nostalgia without me having to dedicate time after a busy day to sit and grind out skills.
Thanks again Malcs and I look forward to the tackling the Throne of the Herald expansion as soon as you release it.
