Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Review (Saph)
Invasive DRM sucks, stop injecting it into old releases for no reason Capcom. The people who wanted these games already bought them so all you're doing is making their experience worse for no discernible gain. If anything, all it does is push MORE users toward piracy and I find it very hard to sympathise on that front as you're doing it to yourselves.
That aside, Battle Network is a fantastic series and these first three games will always be my favourites in the series.
1 has a rocky difficulty curve but sets the foundation of the series pretty well.
2 is a great sequel that introduces styles and has a pretty decent postgame.
3 steals the show with some of the most fun chips in the series, the best net design, expanded style system, super fun bosses and a postgame that while demanding, is extremely satisfying to complete. Blue version has a bit more content overall, but you need chips from both versions to reach 100% anyway. Something that becomes a running theme of the series in the Vol 2 collection.
