Max Payne Review (Ted)
Ignore my hours on this Steam version, I have owned this game many times over in the last 20+ years and I cannot count how many times I finished it. This game set me on a path where I started to love gaming and that love only grew stronger over the years.
It is really hard to get across how revolutionary this game was for its time, I had never seen anything like it with it's crazy 'bullet time' combat and game play that took PC gaming to a new level. It may now be dated and a bit broken without community made patches but this game will always hold a special place in my heart (hence my avatar).
Sadly it is the news of the death of James McCaffrey, the voice of Max himself, that has me writing this belated review of one of what I consider the greatest games in all gaming history. Rest in peace James, really sad to hear of your passing
