Master Spy Review (Derpwalet)
Despite the game's tough nature (it being quite challenging in terms of difficulty). I felt sort of fond of it.
It requires you to be careful, patient as well as have quick reaction time (this becomes more and more apparent as you progress through the game).
The game also does a good job at consistently introducing new hazards for you to overcome. This could result in intense platforming or stealth sections (or both even!).
The spritework is simple, yet easy to read. The artsyle overall has a lot of charm. The backgrounds in this game serve as a good indicator as to where and how far you are into a particular mission (in other words, they transition smoothly).
And although I think the main plot may not be as complicated, it still felt nice to see it unfold through the cutscenes (which I think were well done).
The music in general is also very great. I found myself listening to the tracks on and off. It does a great job at setting the mood both in-game and the cutscenes.
Very hard. but also very nice and charming!
