Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics Review (GRANIT Salvo)

Confirmed: Runs on Linux PopOS with various Protons.
Confirmed: Can opt out of any data collection and easy to change at any time. Privacy Policy is explained much cleaner than most.
Confirmed: Norimaru
The gods bless, this game shows care and respect for the originals. The additions of the training modes to bring it up to modern Quality of Life for fighters is very welcome. There are some bug fixes for MVC2, but not too many (in a good way). I really appreciate the multiple secret character options filtering out Mech-Gouki or Anita for certain sessions, or just having an easy select of them for my old-man brain.
Complaint 1: I prefer button "map by press" rather than the "map by left/right cycle", its faster with less thinking when you are not using an xbox Controller.
Complaint 2: While the screen filters are top quality, you cant see them as you select them in the menu, and they are labeled A, B, C, etc. It takes some back and forth to find what you like.
NOTE: The Saturn look is Filter G.
Complaint 3: Menu selection sounds in the metamenu area are a pain with headphones....They sound like they hit the 18kHz range. ouch.
So, you are at the end of this and wondering "Is it $50 good?". Yeah mostly, if you love at least 2 of these games, I think enough love and polish from the devs shines through to justify the $50, especially if you know the effort to run these before this. No Ragrets here.
