Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Review (^jSM)
Spider-Man: Miles Morales ★★★★☆ (4.2)
"A step-up from 2018, that falls short of providing the same narrative qualities and is plagued by its lenght, the asking price and a apperent lack of overall polish."
PROS: CONS:
✔️Combat/Swinging ❌Many bugs & minor glitches
✔️Better Animations ❌Weak(er) Main-Narrative
✔️Set-pieces/Cinematics ❌Game is too short
✔️Sound-Design & Music ❌Sold at full-price
✔️Miles & solid Side-Cast ❌Re-used bases/locations
✔️Even more stunning NYC
✔️Less tedious challenges
✔️Fun new abilities & moves

"INCLUDES PLATINUM TROPHY - Trophy Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5 Casual) Few Missables, but mission replay is possible and the story is very short. Requires NG+ Playthrough. Easy and fun trophies. ∼20h 100%"
Do I recommend Miles Morales?
Yes, but wait for a discount.
I wish I could rate this game higher, because I have had honestly a lot of fun playing Miles Morales. Possibly even more fun than during Spider-Man 2018, but it is simply not on the same level in many areas.
If you can live with a - even for a super-hero story - stereotypical narrative, a total main story duration of just under 6 hours, and visual glitches, animation errors, bugged UI prompts as well as stuck-in-wall enemies from time to time and in return get more of what you loved about the 2018 game, with some truly mindblowing step ups of the base-systems, especially in the traversal/swinging department - I can wholly recommend Miles as a fan of both titles.
