Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Review (2 Fast 2 Fabulous)

Okay so gameplay wise this is a huge improvement from the first, swinging feels more fluid, there's new traversal options that make sense with a bigger map, the combat is a little different but still let's you feel like you have the speed and acrobatics of Spiderman. So far I'm hooked again like I was with the first one.
I'm enjoying the story so far but have heard that it's not as strong as the first, personally as an avid Spiderman comics fan im just happy to sit and point at the screen every time a new character walks into the story and explain to my wife why that's my favourite comic character actually. The story so far has been strong, all the character introductions have been really fun, and the real synergy between the two Spidermen has been really fun to watch. I like that you get to see them really play off each other in a way that you only got a preview of in the Miles Morales game.
To address crashes, yes this is definitely happening, however personally I have experienced one crash in my 7 hours or so of gameplay, I have a 12th gen I7, a 3070Ti and 32gb of DDR4 3600. Frankly there are people here with much stronger set ups experiencing much worse gameplay and stability. I'm not sure if I just have a less impacted particular combination of parts but I just wanted to share my experience to balance out what others are saying.
All that said, buy at your own risk, you may experience frame issues, stability issues, etc, but that's likely to be fixed, and whenever that is the case, you will ultimately be left with a superior game with some spectacular characters and amazing mechanics.
EDIT: Okay so now that I've 100% the game (all collectables, story and side quests) I think its completely fair to say that I have enjoyed this one way more than the first game. Again its really clear that lots of people are having issues with the game and its performance, i'm reviewing based on my personal experience, which was maybe 4 crashes over almost 30 hours of gameplay, which included all content in the game. I really urge people to try this game, and to enjoy it. However if you are experiencing a lot of issues early on in the game, consider refunding before it is too late not to. The game is not cheap, and despite finding a lot of enjoyment, to the point of planning to play new game + to get all the achievements, I don't want to talk people into wasting their money when there are very valid performance issues affecting a lot of people, regardless of PC specs.
