Maneater Review (Mr. Big Bun 🐰)

Right off the bat I'll tell ya, this is a pretty good game, short and sweet are the words that will define my review. This game makes you want more, and I missed playing games like this!
It's a different take on the Shark games you know, definitely not what you'd expect. RPG like with a level system, upgrades and a bunch of collectibles for you to find! And a fun narrator to listen to.
I love the shark design, and how you can grow accordingly to your level, besides all of the beautiful gear you can get, which looks astonishing when fully upgraded, they also come with custom effects, abilities, and even great music once you use them.
If you're someone who likes to explore, then this game is for you. It will heavily reward you if you get all collectibles, which is also a good thing if you're a completionist.
Besides collectibles, there are lots of fun challenges to work on, from fighting apex predators to gaining infamy.
Also, I love the soundtrack, ambiance, and every single small detail, from sea creature noises to music.
Now, personally, the main downside of this game is that, it is a short experience, especially if you're not going to collect everything (Including DLC) I managed to complete everything under 15 hours. Personally, it would've been amazing if they made 3 large maps with the same size as the main one, which has around 8 areas.. As well add more gear and everything, maybe make other creatures playable. I'd pay extra money for that amount of content.
Also, we don't get enough time trials (Something you can only get from the DLC)
One last thing, when you jump out of the water especially to reach collectibles that are high, it can be difficult. There's this thing the game doesn't teach you, but if you jump and constantly look up, your shark will do a backflip. The trick is to look down after a high jump and center the shark, so it won't backflip, making it easier to get some collectibles and go through time trials. This could be somethinig to work on, if they make a sequel.
Overall, great game, the price is not bad for the amount of time you'll spend playing, but still.. I'd get it on sale, same with the DLC (You'll need it, great extra content)
I already miss this game
