This game is great. A simple puzzle game that feels like a twist on word search. You select words to cover up the word and some other squares, depending on the type of word you cover up. This creates some challenging puzzles, and as more words are introduced, it becomes harder to select which word to use, as they share letters. Which words and the order makes a huge difference and it's a lot of fun to figure out the correct combination. The words being nonsense makes it slightly more challenging as well. Gimmicks are trickled in that make the game increasingly complex.
The game had me immediately hooked. The style is simple and clean. The music is light and fun and accompanies the levels nicely. I'm not sure why, but the game reminds me a lot of Baba is You. Some combination of the music style, the letters, and the cartoonish animations, all just give me those vibes. Also there is more to the game than I initially realized, which also reminds me of Baba. Thankfully it's not as complex as Baba, and I was able to complete it with only one hint, for whatever reason this one level really had me stumped, not even the last level. Most of the beginning levels in a world are fairly simple, taking only a minute, but as the levels go on, they get harder and harder, with the ending levels taking 10-15 minutes sometimes. The whole game with 100% achievements took me around 20 hours.
Like all the Draknek and Friends published games, this game is fantastic. If it's your first game published by them, go check them all out. On sale or not, they are all worth it, including this gem. Great work by the devs. Really appreciated this experience.
