Lok Digital Review (Detective)
I'm someone that loves puzzle games but often times find them too difficult, I always reach a spot in which I feel frustrated with a puzzle and stop playing and never reach 100% completion.
Somehow LOK Digital really pulled me and I have been playing nonstop since buying it, and I ended up finishing it 100% without even noticing. It never gets outrageously difficult, and many of the more advanced puzzles feel more like an aesthetic demonstration of the game mechanics.
The game is filled with a-ha moments and also beautifully aesthetic ones, like sometimes the solution is the prettiest one, and I very much enjoy that.
The hints are very straightforward: they tell you what words you need to spell out in which order. At first this completely spoils the puzzles, but as more mechanics are presented even if you know the words, spelling them is a true challenge. I really loved this aspect of the hints, as I didn't feel any guilt when I decided to access them.
Must-play for any puzzle game enjoyer. I hope to try the physical version sometime in the future :)
