Littlewood Review (🐟 Nyx)

I really liked this farming/life sim. The story is simple -- you have amnesia after you saved the world! You get to learn little bits about the world, even the Dark Lord you "defeated," but there isn't very much to the story. The characters are all charming in their own way with typical JRPG-trope personalities, but I loved all the characters.
I would compare this game more with Animal Crossing than Stardew Valley. Time is only moved on actions (not socialization, watering plants, and other annoying things.) Eventually you get a pocket watch and you can give your townspeople "Groundhog Day" movie feelings. There is flowing breeding in this game. You also are the mayor/whatever of this town (I called myself the Supreme... of the town of Karasuno,) and you can pass "town wishes" that enhances the skills and drops.
This game is really goes from "simple little farming, bug catching, fishing, wood/ore farming, crafting, simple card game, etc" to "I have all the power, and now ONIONS and RARE FISH fall from trees and PAPAYAS and LEGENDARY WOOD and more rare fish come from ores!!" Every action you do early game rewards you for your hard work, and at the end of the game I would just spend my days fishing for 2 minutes and back to bed to finish the achievements. A bit grindy, but that is expected of a farming game...
If you pick this up, don't stress like I did trying to get some magical rare fish that didn't appear for over a year. The end game bonuses will make every single item appear. The RNG on blueprints was also very weird, since it took me over a year to just get a bed for Ash too... but by the time I 100%'d the game, I had over a half million dewdrops (money) left and nothing to spend it on.
My other gripe is that the dev is apparently working on another game, but there's no store page at this time? I had to dig through those "political social media" websites to find that out since I was very curious of this developer would make another game! I wish the dev would create a Steam page for their new game, or maybe even just a newsletter on Steam using Littlewood's game, like plenty of other devs do for their upcoming game(s).
For those curious, I married Arpeggio. I very much enjoy the hints of him being a terrible bard, even though he tries so hard with his music.
