Little Nightmares Review (XVII)
Little Nightmares is a game that will leave you breathless. When the blind grandfather hears you, he will start trying to get you, despite the fact that you are behind the wall. The same thing will happen if the cook hears you, who will immediately run after you to throw you into the soup. "Little Nightmares" is a game with elements of stealth (though not always), puzzles (they're only for smart people) and an atmosphere of horror that only lasts because you might get eaten by your grandfather.
You control a little girl named Seven, although, judging by the second part, her real name is “Wh-ore.” She gets inside "The Maw" - a turtle-shaped sea vessel in which, as I understand it, rich fat people are fattened. The game uses stealth mechanics, since you can't kill the enemy here, and he will kill you constantly if he notices you and you don't have time to hide.
The graphics and game design are well done, and the enemies in each room are unique with their own abilities and weaknesses. Unfortunately, the game is not very long (about five hours, but in general it can be completed on easy in an hour). Nevertheless, "Little Nightmares" is a very cool game, there are few analogues to it. It attracts with its originality and atmosphere, which is done very well, especially considering the soundtrack.
There's also Little Nightmares #1, which has great art but poor writing. If you want to know more about the plot, I recommend watching this video: https://youtu.be/nvYjleikjRk?si=-1yfsPgrZigF0d1t
Overall, Little Nightmares is a great game for an evening that is worth playing, and it doesn't cost much.
