Little Kitty, Big City Review (buney)

This is just a lovely little game <3 Once I started playing it, I couldn't stop!!
This game was reminiscent to me of Untitled Goose Game in that you're a little guy causing a lot of mischief, but I personally liked this one just a tad bit better than Untitled Goose Game! While Goose is mostly focused on figuring out puzzles and going through quests, Little Kitty is much more open-world and exploratory. There are not really that many puzzles in Little Kitty (which I prefer in my games) and if there are puzzles, they are largely optional--just like most of the quests in the game are unless you want to get 100% completion.
I could definitely see this game attracting itself to all age demographics and I think I would have really enjoyed roaming around and causing mischief in this game as a child. This game is insanely kid-friendly (aside from maybe some of the harder platformer areas, but like I said before, these are almost all optional). All the animal characters introduced are all very sweet and adorable as well <3
There are platformer aspects but they are pretty easy to catch onto and I can't remember any time that I fell and got frustrated or times when I felt like I needed to take a break from a challenging climb, like I do with many in this genre.
However, definitely understand that this game is at most 6-7 hours of content (I 100% completed the game in this time frame) and that the price point is pretty steep for the amount of new gameplay you will be getting. I would recommend to buy the game on sale if possible, as I'm not sure $25 is worth the amount of content. I also experienced some glitches while playing, but these were almost all related to the camera in dialogues being a bit janky.
I honestly think if you are buying this game purely to be a cute little guy tripping people walking by and collecting cute hats, you honestly could rack up a lot more time than I did. Even when you "finish" the game (get back home), you don't really "finish" it and you are encouraged to continue playing. So that price might seem right to some while it might seem steep to others, depending on your goals are going into the experience!
Really recommend this one! <3
