Little Big Workshop: The Evil Review (Guizmus)

I don't know why it still says 0h played, I spent around 80 hours on this DLC.
After all this time and some more patching, I want to confirm most bugs are gone. I'm still having to save/reload regulary to unblock a truck in a loading bay or a sold item that doesn't want to go away though.
I let the following review as it still stands, but I'm adding here some thoughts about the DLC flow. It's quite different, faster than base game. In fact, you will unlock most things very quickly. The balance isn't the best IMO... like it's too easy to take down a rival, and the money given by the other workshops once you buy them is so high you won't need to ship an item at all to stay positive by the time you have 3 in your pocket.
That being said, the change of flow is welcome too, bringing more of a focus on "how much can you be profitable on a single product" and "how work efficient can you be" sooner in the game.
The achievements are OK, but the Pacifist one is kind of a pain and long. Try to buy a rival for full price as soon as you can, or don't and do the 365 days achievements with it ;)
Anyway, if you can tolerate the small remaining bugs, and liked the base game, go ahead !
============
I'm nearing the end of the DLC, and I'm still giving the thumbs up, even if I would add "wait for a patch".
The content : nice upgrade, new products to make, new ways to upgrade your factory like portals ... The progression isn't very balanced still though, I found myself getting an easier win by saturating the easy market instead of progressing to medium and hard, and every perk was available quite fast too.
The reskin : mostly cometic, some new tools to go with, but not a lot of changes. Even the periodic grunt your employees make isn't original, same as base game with a distortion on top of it. Nothing major here.
The progression system : introduced as one of the features, this is the biggest change in the flow of a game. Not very challenging either, it still has the upside of mixing things up.
Bugs : lots of little one, some more visible than others like products not unlocking when they should, or shadows broken, but still no game breaking ones.
All in all, if you liked the base game and want more products, go for it. If you can't stand bugs, wait for a patch.
Last word on pricing, even if it is quite fun, I'm not sure it's worth 50% of the base game, at least not in this current state.

initial review :
The concept is nice, the design to go with it is cool too. But it seems they rushed to meet the Halloween deadline, given the theme and the sales this can bring. I'm having quite some bugs right now, achievements unlocking when not meeting the prerequisites, regular alert "this machine has a problem in its lists of tasks" when there isn't anything wrong.
I would be careful recommending it in its current state. I haven't finished the DLC yet, but if it stays on course with what there is right now, then go for it if you liked the base game. Multiple little bugs, no game breaking ones for now though. It's more of the same with a reskin on top of it.
But please, next time, don't pick a theme that puts such a deadline on you, devs, I would have preferred a month delay for a better experience.
