Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - Master Vacation Bundle Review (Phoebe Jeebies)

Prefacing this review with the fact that you DO NOT need this DLC to get the "Infinite Wealth (Obtain all achievements)" Achievement, but you DO need this DLC for the 100% completion for the game on Steam's end.
There's three main reasons for buying this DLC:
- NG+, NG+ Hard, and NG+ Legend modes. IMO, absolutely shouldn't be paywalled, ever. Awful move on SEGA's part.
- The dungeon is more of the same of what you see in the base game, in Hawaii/Yokohama. It gives you a TON of EXP, and if you're gunning for a Legend NG+ playthrough, it'll boost you to level 75 from 50ish in about one dungeon run and a fifth floor rerun, took me about 5 hours total. Good EXP gain, same old dungeon, same old enemies but now they're HARDER! (Capped at level 60. Not hard for long, but the EXP gain is still really good for a decent while after.) Only available post-game.
- Big Swell character interactions. You see the whole party interact with each other in a way that wasn't really touched on very much in the base game. IMO, shouldn't have been paywalled, but they're really fun interactions and I did giggle a lot at most of them.
Those three points are the only things worthwhile in this DLC, and they really shouldn't have been paywalled, at the very least should have been sold separately. You get base swimsuits in the game already and the other outfits are meh at best; the items in this pack, you get a bunch of in game; Dondoko is fun I guess, but I'd rather have the people who are in the base game since you can very easily max out every house with a gold-tier guest without this DLC; Sujimon are not really worth it since you can get equally strong characters in the base game but they're a fun addition; and I didn't use the CD system past the 4th hour of the game and there's plenty of music in the base game.
I bought this on a deep sale so I could 100% the game and I don't use more than 20% of the content included in this pack. This DLC is really just for SEGA to suck the money from completionists. The dungeon gives good EXP but since it's only post-game, it's clear it's for post-game levelling for Hard/Legend mode. Locking NG+ behind a paywall is kinda scummy when it's not been paywalled for the entire franchise's lifespan, plus NG+ scales really weirdly with the enemy levels. The character interactions are great and should have been in the base game, and everything else added into this pack is added as bloat to justify the price. "Resurrection boluses, sujimon, dondoko island members??? Clearly worth more than $10 now, pay up"
Can't recommend this, ever, but if you MUST 100% the game, then buy on sale.
At least you can replay the game with your +50 weapons and speed your way to the sad moments.
