Lake: Season's Greetings Review (TheBlueFiend)
If you liked the main game you'll definitely like this.
This is a prequel to the main game before Meredith arrives at Providence Oaks in December of 1985 where you take on the role of Thomas Weiss Meredith's father, before him and Emily set off to sunny Florida.
Instead of being set in the summer this DLC is obviously taken place during the wintry Christmas time. The atmosphere's essentially the same, but being covered in snow, glowing with Christmas lights, and sightings of snowmen all over.
Gameplay's obviously the same, nothing has changed here.
Length is about half the main game, where the main story will take you about 10 hours this will take you about 4-5, so it's still somewhat lengthy compared to the main game while still giving you a little slice of the pie.
I would recommend this, but I also liked the main game. Being able to chill out and deliver parcel is just soothing, and much like the main game having a good atmosphere surround you just sets you in to good ol' P.O. I like Meredith, but lemme be honest and say I loved being Thomas more, something about being chill while telling dad jokes just sets me in. I would love another DLC, but I WANT FRANK , whether it be spring or autumn I would just love to get behind my favorite troublemaker Frank who I can see being a great addition into the comedic department.
